Comfortable Luxury in the heart of Hatherleigh Mandy and Alan warm hospitality throughout the year. Mandy and Alan welcome you to Radnors, built in the nineteenth century, offers high standard clean and simple accommodation within a charming character environment.
Local walks take in breathtaking views of Dartmoor and gurgling brooks where otters can be seen. Fishing for trout and salmon could also be easily fitted into your agenda. The area is steeped in wildlife as seen on the BBC flagship programme Springwatch .
After a hard day relaxing you will a friendly welcome in the hostelries of this pleasant market town. The Tally Ho! offers a traditional bar serving real ales. While the Bridge Inn offers good ales in a relaxed atmosphere. Both Inns offer good pub cooked food for that evening meal before a short stroll back to Radnors.
If you are lucky enough to be able to book the second weekend in November you will be in a prime position to watch one of the last fire festivals still in existence as the youth pull flaming tar barrels through the town at 5am!! The exercise is repeated at the more civilized hour of 7:30pm after the armada of colourful floats has been paraded through the town. A carnival not to be missed.
In June there is a chess tournament, some times played in the rain! Regular events are held throughout the year so there is always something to do, see Hatherleigh.net , where all the latest new from Hatherleigh and area is regularly updated.
In April, on Lady Day, the Lord of the Manor holds court over her subjects. She has in recent times sent people to the stocks, for charity of course!
Radnors as well as a nourishing breakfast provides tea/coffee making facilities, TV, Radio and hair dryer, we try and keep the sun shinning but the wonderful countryside needs watering!

FACILITIES
Secure storage for cycles for the fit. Off road parking for the not so fit. Guests are free to take advantage of the garden but we are sorry we cannot accommodate pets. The rooms are decorated to a high standard are clean and simple and offer digital TV's (Freeview), tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers and towels are supplied (bath and hand). We offer Two Double bedrooms with a shared bathroom with shower.
