A Sad accident? or something more?
By Neil Price, Co-Editor

July 1, 2011: So who was it?

An accident? Happened on the A386 and the rumours are flying.
A man has been been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash.
Officers were called to the A386 near Hatherleigh, Devon, after reports that a van had hit a hedge, police said. Ambulance and fire crews attended the incident just before 1000 BST. A police spokesman said the woman's death was "unexplained" and that a man driving the Fiesta van has been arrested and was being questioned. Part of the A386 and another road were closed after the incident while investigations took place.
Det Insp Mike West, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "We are appealing for anyone who was driving along the A386 between Hatherleigh and Okehampton and saw anything out of place to come forward."
He said officers wanted to hear from anyone who saw a white Fiesta van registration NH08 CKO anytime between Thursday evening and 0950 BST on Friday.
