Ruby Run 2010 13 June

May 20, 2010: Lamisell Beams Ruby Run The Ruby Run is to have a new name and for the next few years will be known as the ''Lamisell Beams Ruby Run'' The company is to sponsor the cost of the shirts which is a considerable cost of the race set up fees, the shirts are a very good quality. This year the funds go to the Air Ambulance appeal, for a new Air Ambulance based at Eagle Scott this will cover the Ruby area and North Devon also funds go to the Ruby Country based at Cookworthy promoting Tourism and local business The Lamisell Ruby Run will take place on Sunday June the13th, the day after the Hatherleigh Chess Challenge, starting in Holsworthy at 10.30am. The number of walkers that are very welcome and are also increasing each year walkers can start as soon as the booking office opens at about 8.30am but they must have a bottle of water as the first water station may not have set up. Many local businesses have also sponsored the race and their logos are printed on the shirt back. If you are not walking or running come along and enjoy the finish in Hatherleigh Square when the first runners should start to arrive about 11 40am.
