Monday! The Big Switch on!

December 7, 2009: On Monday (the 7 th ) will see the new lights illuminate the town at 7:15pm by Matt Woodley of BBc Radio Devon, to celebrate the occasion the following events will be on. Shops open till 8pm.
LATE NIGHT SHOPPING!
Involving a Craft Fair in aid of the British Heart Foundation the Charity Bridget Chisholm (the local practice nurse) is walking from Cusco to Machu Picchu in Peru, the Made Well shop!, the Salar Gallery! Refreshments at the Tea Rooms, Mulled Wine at the Pottery, A Santa's Grotto for the young (at heart), The Silver Band, a charity bash at 33 Market Street, (on the Square) amongst others, including the Tally Ho! and the Bridge.
The Charity do at 33 Market Street (on the square) will be offering coffee and cakes, bric a brac and stuff to sell in order to raise funds for the Devon and Korogwe charity who raise funds to help find water and install a well and pump for poor villages in Tanzania.
