The free range art group goes wild!
By Neil Price, Co-Editor

May 25, 2008: We had to get up with the sun if we had any chance of success for our onslaught on the galleries of London. The first objective was the Tate Britain. where the winds were made to blow by Turner and Van Gogh tried to fool us with his Sunflowers someone should have told him it should have been poppies! Having accomplished our first task we then went on to understand the enemy a bit better and studied their portraits in the National Portrait Gallery where we saw through Picasco and his distaugted figures and the glorified pictures of “the great and the Good”. Then onto the National which was the bloodiest encounter of them all among the country scenes of Constable their were served heads of men and gloating women. Rubens gave away Samson’s secret One poor man even committed suicide before we got there! The last foray was to the Tate Modern where we spotted the Mona Lisa although Duchamp’s clever disguise didn’t fool the brave troop from Hatherleigh. In all a great time was had by all. Our mission accomplished we were in our beds by midnight.
