January 3, 2008: Dennis came back quickly with: "Another stab at this. Forth in from the right back row is a Fishleigh as is the fourth in from right front row. 2nd in from the right front row is Sid Cockwell. Take away the N Baker from Iddesleigh. We are now half way there. The two Fishleighs - one is Stan and one is Jack."

UPDATE: Albert Yelland added shortly afterwards: "I was interested in the photo of the 1930's football team . The only person I can add is Dick Letheren, kneeling next to Les Spicer in the front row. I expect Eric (Packer ) Rowe will have got all the names! I hope you will publish the list. May I take this opportunity as an Hatherleigh exile to say much I enjoy the website and the Pump so - long may it continue. I was born in Hatherleigh in 1924 and lived there until departing for University in 1942. My father was Jim Yelland - saddler and shoemaker. I am still a regular visitor."
