Young Live Bands Wanted give it go!

October 5, 2007: In Hatherleigh Community Centre on the 25th October. Are you up to it. Can you out perform the others. Young Hatherleigh are holding an Evening of bands on the Thursday 25th October The enterprising youth of Hatherleigh run regular activities in Hatherleigh for young people aged 10+Thursday Nights at The Hatherleigh Community Centre for 50p per person, There are a range of activities to choose from...Dance group for boys and girls 6-7.30, with street dancing and hip hop dance moves from professional dance tutor Claire Harris of Born to Dance; Computer club 7-9, with dance mat, computer games and advice on how to make your own web pages for Bebo/Myspace/Facebook and how to submit films to YouTube etc. Youth cafe 7-9 cookery sessions with Paul and Lynz. Cook food that is healthy and affordable, prepare recipes that you enjoy and share the results with your friends; Carnival club 7-9 we are entering Hatherleigh Carnival and need people who want to decorate the float or be part of the procession; Music session 7-9 we have guitars/amps, drums and recording equipment and the sessions are run by local musicians Chase and Jake who will be recording tracks to use at Hatherleigh Carnival; Spray can art with artist Rion who will help you develop techniques to decorate a local bus shelter and to our Carnival float.
