Happy New Year!
By Geoff Hodgkinson, Co-Editor

January 1, 2006: Hi y'all, from the team behind hatherleigh.net. We hope the xmas period was good for you and that 2006 brings you everything you wish for yourselves. Since our debut in early November we have made dramatic progress, with more than 1100 site visits recorded in December alone. Most local sites don't get that in a year! Our best day yet has been 64 visits - let's see how quickly we can improve that. What's our secret? There isn't one except perhaps for good content, cool technology, and professionalism. We are trying to show that Hatherleigh is a great place to live, visit and shop in. But we need your help too. If you can contribute, or you have a good idea, then contact us. Any realistic suggestion can be made to work. For example, you can add news stories to this page, or your club can have its own section which can be maintained from your own browser! Read ABOUT for more. Help us make this web site something that the world has to sit up and take notice of.

PS: the latest Soccer Report is now online here.
