Mark breaks ankle in Cup
By Geoff Hodgkinson, Co-Editor

December 7, 2005: Hatherleigh FC defender Mark Tucker broke his ankle just a few minutes before the end of an exciting, though sodden, Cup match against much-fancied Crediton on Saturday. Crediton won, though not easily, so the Reds can hold their heads high knowing they put up a good show against a good team from a higher league. Goalie Gary Toop was judged Man of the Match for some fine, even spectacular, saves that kept our lads in the running. Match report and pictures.

STOP PRESS: Dean Rice, a new signing from Torrington, debuts this coming Saturday when Town play University at the Okehampton Road ground. Don't miss it.
