Calling all Old Hatherlians! June 2nd

May 3, 2007: Did you go to Hatherleigh School? Did you grow up here back then? Are you in the picture? Do you pleasant memories? Do you wish to catch up with that old Pal? Well if you do make your way back to the old Town/Village on Saturday June 2nd. And there is the chance you will meet that old pal from the past. Hatherleigh School is holding a reunion for any past pupils (over the age of 18) and staff. The reunion is to be held on Saturday 2nd June from 3 - 7 in school. Refreshments will be available. Anyone over age of 18 very welcome to come and meet old acquaintances and tour the school. Entrance 3:50 Please pass the message on! While the history Society Former Residents Re-union This will take place, as already announced, on Saturday June 2nd. Those attending are invited to meet at the Community Centre from 11:30am. A buffet lunch will be available (price 6) from 12:30pm and after that there will be an archive exhibition by the History Society in Old Schools from 2:00pm when there will be the opportunity to reminisce over old scrap books and photographs. If anyone has Hatherleigh memorabilia they would like to bring on this occasion there will be space to display it at the exhibition. Please contact me (01837 810478) if you are planning to come along and would like to book lunch. At the time of writing we know of about 25 people who are planning to return for this event so do come along and hear about life in the Town in former times. The archive exhibition will also be open on the Sunday Afternoon from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
