The Commuity Centre is Alive!

February 2, 2007: The New Community Centre is now up and running and packed with exciting things. The Da Vinci Code last Saturday played to 50 to 60 people. The Community Centre provides many activities see weekly events and the general events list. Do you wish to start another activity or put on an event, Party, Dance Wedding? Contact the Community Centre on 01837 810239 email: hatherleighareaproject@btconnect.com. There are others interested in starting groups Net Ball call Lyne Strawbridge 01837 810786. This exciting venue has the following facilities mainhall consists of the ideal place for that special occasion with facilities for bands with banked seated for that business meetings, film shows, theatrical productions seminars etc. With the banked seating put away the area can be used for indoor sports or that wedding reception or a great dance. In addition to the main hall and the Children's centre there are smaller meeting rooms available while outside there are flood lit facilities for football, netball etc on an all weather pitch.
