Hatherleigh Silver Band Website Winners
By Neil Price, Co-Editor

September 4, 2006: The Band has just had it's Website voted as 'Website of the Month' for August on the Brass Band Forum Site 'www.The mouthpiece.com' .  Having been nominated back in July it then had to be seconded by somebody not affiliated to the band, fortunately it was by a Brass Band net surfer in the USA. The best 5 out of the 10 nominated were then chosen to go forward to the final vote. The poll opened on 1st Aug and ran until 1st Sept with 1 vote allowed per email address. It was a close battle with Camborne Town Band in the early stages but HSB soon opened up a good lead and ended up clear winners.
This has proved to be a great advert for HSB and will have got the HSB's name featured in many Bandrooms all over the world.
The website will now receive:
A Winners image to place on the front page of the site
A place in the Mouthpiece Website 'Hall of Fame'
1 month Promotional Banner
Interview on the mouthpiece.com.
The final results were as follows :
1st  Hatherleigh Silver Band
2nd Camborne Town Band
3rd  Pennine Brass
4th  Jed Forest Insrumental Band
5th  Ripon City
