Ruby Country Photographic Competition

Open to all non professional photographers the subject may be any scene, animal, bird, person(s)or activity within the bounds of Ruby Country. A map of this area can be found on the Ride the Ruby Country Website here.
The competition will be in two categories:-
Adults and children over twelve and children under twelve years of age.
There will be cash prizes for the winners in each section and a perpetual trophy for the “Best in Show”.
Entries limited to four per entrant must be in the form of un-mounted prints up to a4 in size and be sent or delivered to the Ruby Country Information Centre at 15 Market Street, Hatherleigh, EX20 3JN stating the category in which it has been entered and the photographer’s contact details on the back of the print. Entries close 3rd July 2017 and are non returnable. There is no entry charge for this competition.
The competition will be judged by Derek Stratton FRPS and two Ruby Country volunteers and all winners and the best of the rest will be exhibited during Hatherleigh Festival with judging taking place from 15th July and the prints on show later that week, No correspondence will be entered into with the entrants with respect to the adjudged results.
The object is to promote the Ruby Country and all entries, whilst the photographers retains the copyright, he or she automatically licences The Ruby Country Partnership permission to use such images as it wishes to promote its activities and you may therefore be required to provide a digitalised copy suitable for such use.
