February 12, 2015: Hatherleigh players have been working hard on this years pantomime, Aladdin, written by Ben Crocker, adapted to suit the cast with a few surprises and a Bollywood twist. Aladdin has been set in India with its stunning, vibrant costumes and exciting Bollywood dance along with all the usual panto fun and laughter. 

The show has a cast of nearly 30 including 10 young players. It is directed by Cindy Squire, Aladdin is played by Christy Pepper, Abanazar by Alan Jones, Widow Twankey by Richard Cornish, Wishee Washee by Sandra Collier, Princess Jasmine by Abi Ashworth, the funny policemen are Jane Fawcett and Steve Shaw, the genies are Kathy Christopher and Eliza Squire, the Maharajah is Bernard Jones and Tyson the tiger is Martin Kelly. We have live music led by pianist Mrs Shirley Dilling, clarinet -Elsa Harriades, Sax - Jemma Young and drums - Robin Wonnacott.

The show runs Thursday 19th Feb, Friday 20th Feband Saturday 21st feb, Saturday matinee starts 2pm and all evening performances start at 7:30pm.
