Jacobstowe Turbine update Blimp Launch 14th June

June 4, 2014: The blimp to be launched on 14th June will be visible for miles around but in particular from: Hatherleigh Moor, looking towards Dartmoor, the A386, B3216, A3072, Inwardleigh, Folly Gate, Hatherleigh, Jacobstowe, Exbourne, Monkokehampton. For a closer inspection, please go to the Keeper’s Cottage entrance to Broomford Manor, Jacobstowe, EX20 3RH, and follow the signs to the blimp.
The lodging of planning applications for wind turbines is relentless, visit the CPRE web site click here and prepare for a shock!

The West Down Farm development is currently at the Screening and Scoping Opinion stage with West Devon Borough Council (Application for Heane Farm Turbine has bee submitted click here) and a public ‘consultation’ has been held in Hatherleigh.
