Children's Centre under Threat
By Hatherleigh Childrens Centre

April 30, 2014:

Tina Brock on behalf of the Children’s centre would like to  the following.
“Hatherleigh children’s centre has been at the heart of the community for 12 years and was initially set up after the foot and mouth dilema, The children centre has supported well over 1000 children under 5 and their families over the years, from play session, baby clinics, baby massage, parenting courses, 1-1 family support aswell as having links with the toddler groups, pre schools, schools and the health team.
Devon county council have now put in a 45 day consultation for a review on; the services provided, where these services may happen and large budget cuts, to name a few.
Everyone is able to have a view on this and make their feelings, opinions and thoughts known.
The link gives you access to the review papers and an on line feedback form.
We asked that everyone takes a look at the proposal, so that the council take notice of the service users and the people that actually matter "our children - our future"
For more information on this then please follow the link or contact the Children centre, which is based in Hatherleigh community centre, or call 01837811190.
Many thanks”
