MGs descend on Hatherleigh
By Neil Price, Co-Editor

August 13, 2013:

From left to right
Diane Williams with her green MGB, John Causley with his white MGC, John Chadwick with his Red MGB, Ewan Harris with his Green F1 Magna, Carey Hovet with his red MGB, David Cherrill with his harvest gold MGB and Martin Pester with his blue MGB.

The Taw and Torridge MG owners club came to Hatherleigh, on Tuesday, to join the crowds at Hatherleigh Market. They came to visit Martin at the Hatherleigh Fish Bar. Martin the owner of the bar also has two MGs. He is usually too busy frying fish and chips for the populace to attend the regular meeting of the club so they came to him.
When asked “Why MGs?” the responses came back “Best Cars in the World” “they will always get you there” to which Diane Williams added “sometimes on a trailer”.
Ewan Harris uses his 1932 MG F1 Magna on a regular basis.
