By Neil Price, Co-Editor

June 21, 2013:

Hatherleigh Paddlers!
4 Hatherleigh paddlers - Chris Brown Martin; Chris Lake; Matt Retter and Steve Carter - will be setting off on their 300mile sea kayak challenge on Saturday 10th August from Bude, aiming to finish in Exeter on Saturday 24th August.
Q. WHY?
A. To raise funds for 4 charities.... Devon Air Ambulance Trust; Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust; Surf Life Saving GB and Alpha 1 Awareness GB.
Please support them in their challenge.  If you would like to sponsor them please contact any one of the 4.  If you don't know any of them, you can usually find Chris BM during the week at Hatherleigh Motors (Bridge Garage).  They are hoping to have a stand at the July Ruby Country Market and during Hatherleigh Festival (to be confirmed).
