Hair the musical
By Neil Price, Co-Editor

August 8, 2012:

Flowers in the WindHair the tribal rock musical from the sixties was put on at the Charter Hall, Okehampton and the Barnfield Theatre, Exeter by Hatherleigh based theatre group Badly Kept Secret. The lead Claude was played by Dexter Newman, who also appeared at Hatherleigh Festival in both “Round and Round the Garden” and in the square on Saturday. The voice of Foxy, played by Eden Bluebell Pesket, is set to go far and the dancing of Nameste, played by Misha White left the audience spell bound. The story based is around the hippie generation and the Vietnam war and the conscription at the time in the USA. You thought that Woof, played by Charlotte Rice, really was out of box! On drugs. Well done to all the cast and Badly Kept Secret for all the hard work they have put into over the last six months. What will be their next production? We will just have to wait with batted breath.
