Hatherleigh Festival 2006

Marquee Music

'HARD PLACE'

This 8 piece popular local band appeared in the Marquee on Saturday night to entertain the crowds until closing time. Funky soul, mixed with outright rock and roll, plus a goodly measure of swing turned out to be a great way to end the third day of the Festival.

'ROB AND DAVE'

This truly local duo rehearsed for ages to learn their songs, and then took even longer to think of a stage name. They've come a long way since their first world tour, (er, gig), in Sampford Courtenay and they did a good job here, both on Friday evening and then again on Saturday, when they temporarily changed their name to 'Strum Naked' for a while. Helped by Photographer's Apprentice Tim Melville we managed to shoot nearly 200 pictures, of which these are a sample.
