Coffee Morning - September 26 
There is also a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Exbourne Village Hall in the AFTERNOON of the 26th September

St David’s Singers - October 4 
A Concert with the St David’s Singers from Exeter will be held at the Hatherleigh Methodist Church on Saturday 4th October at 7.30pm.

When Magic and Science Collide! - October 7 
Oliver Meech will be performing at the Community Centre on 7th October. Oliver meddles with forces we barely understand, in a comedy magic show for the QI generation. A fun filled fusion of magic, mirth and mind reading. Expect amazing tricks inspired by outstanding science! No science knowledge required, just a mind that’s open and a jaw that’s ready to drop! Oliver has performed everywhere from Harvey Nichols to the London 2012 Olympics, the Show had a 22 night sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and Oliver is currently Discovery Channel’s magic consultant. BBC – “my jaw hit the floor” Theatre-Wales – “could rival Derren Brown” 7+ and adults, tickets will be available from Beaford Arts and the Community Centre soon, look out for posters!

Concert - October 10 
Concert An advance notice of a date for your diaries – at 7pm on Friday 10th October, Chrissie Cleverdon and John Hutton will be giving a concert of organ and trumpet music in church with a poetic interval. This will be followed by a glass of wine and light refreshments. Tickets £5. More details in next month’s Pump and see posters locally.

Cinema Club - October 15 

The next Hatherleigh Cinema will be on 15 October, as always at 730pm on our regular third Wednesday in the month. Under the terms of our licence we cannot publicise openly the titles of the next two films but members will be informed by email about 8 October. Also the programme will be posted on the Community Centre internal notice board from the same date. Become a member and choose the films to be shown. Please check the Community Centre or Post Office notice boards for the entitlement of club membership.

Fashion Show - October 17 
Fashion Show, Charter Hall, Okehampton. 7.00pm for 7.30pm Tickets £10 including glass of wine and light refreshments.

Halloween - October 31 
October 31st Halloween. 6pm start Monkokehampton Old Schoolroom

Ruby market - December 6 
The Bumper Festive Ruby Country Market in Hatherleigh in December drew record crowds to the Market and the Town where some businesses reported 3 weeks business being done on a single day. The market dates for 2014 are :- Easter Saturday April 19th Saturday July 19th and Saturday December 6th.
