Hatherleigh Church Flower Festival 2010
By Joe Blurton

July 12, 2010: During 8th - 12th July St. John the Baptist's Church, Hatherleigh, celebrated its annual flower festival, this year organised around the theme of a “Celebration of Saints”. The colourful floral displays arranged in aid of the Church Repair Fund each represented the lives and works of saints through the ages. Coinciding with the Hatherleigh Open Gardens weekend, the Flower Festival also included a Saturday concert, with performances by local musicians, and a Sunday Songs of Praise in the Church. A wonderful time was had by all, with the flower arrangements attracting much positive comment from locals and visitors alike. The event was in aid of the Church Building Repair fund. Donate here
