Late Night Shopping and lights are switched on for Christmas and the men of Hatherleigh Bare all
Monday 4th December

All the shops will be open and many more the George has a craft market full of those things that your friends and relative can't live without. Also the unveiling of the other Hatherleigh Calendar where the men of Hatherleigh bare all at 3 Market Street.
There will be lots to do and see. Children can enjoy a visit to Santa's Grotto organised by Hatherleigh Children's Centre and the George Hotel will again be hosting a Craft Fair. Many shops will be offering a free mulled wine, samples or promotions. There will be mince pies and sausage rolls at the newly refurbished Co-op and the Cornucopia Delicatessen will tempt you with their chocolate fountain. The new beauty salon Natural Beauty will be offering 25% off treatments if you book that night and the Paper Shop will be offering free tastings of their seasonal tipple. There will also be a warm welcome at the Hatherleigh Pottery, Angels & Petals, Tussie Mussie, Odds and Dodd's and the Salar Gallery, and Charlie's Fish & Chip Shop will be open for meals and refreshments. Hatherleigh Hampers and the Hatherleigh Uncovered charity calendar will also be on sale.
The shops will be open from 6pm and events in the Town Square will begin at 7pm with songs and carols from the children of Hatherleigh Primary School. This will be followed by the switching on of the Christmas lights at 7.15pm , by the winner of the Primary School Christmas Card Design competition. Silver Band will be playing from 7.30pm . For those who fancy making a night of it there will be live Hatherleigh music at the Tally Ho! between 9pm and 11pm with Ramblin Minor.
The evening is supported by Hatherleigh Town Council and Hatherleigh Business Forum.
